A century-old wooden sleigh, found in a barn in Hungary, was the muse for our faithful reproduction. Crafted of solid elm and repurposed as a functional bench, its scrolled runners are brushed, stained, stripped and waxed to replicate aged wood, while the padded, tea-stained burlap cushion offers comfortable seating.

• A faithful reproduction of a 100-year-old Hungarian sled
• Built by hand from solid elm with oxidized metal strapping and rings
• Tea-stained burlap-covered cushion is pieced, topstitched and loosely filled for the look of an antique
• Wood has been brushed, stained, stripped and waxed to replicate the effects of time and the elements
• Occasional seating; not meant for actual outdoor, snow-day use
